Il Brand Persol nasce nel 1917 diventando l’emblema della qualità e dello stile made in Italy. I modelli iconici della linea Persol sono il 649 e il 714, montature di altissimo livello realizzate dalla maestria artigianale italiana. L’inconfondibile modello da sole 649 fu concepito nel 1957 per gli autisti dei tram torinesi e divenne ben presto simbolo di stile sul volto di Marcello Mastroianni nel film grande classico “Divorzio all’Italiana”.
Il modello 649 è caratterizzato dal ponte a chiave, dalla leggendaria freccia e dal sistema brevettato Meflecto che sono i dettagli che hanno contribuito a trasformarlo in un classico senza tempo.
In seguito, all’inizio degli anni 70 fu presentato il modello 714, praticamente la versione pieghevole del 649. L’occhiale da sole Persol 714 è un capolavoro di artigianalità grazie alla sua forma a goccia, al ponte a chiave, e agli intramontabili acetati utilizzati e allo straordinario sistema pieghevole che richiede 10 passaggi produttivi extra rispetto ai modelli standard. Il modello 714 raggiunse l’apice del successo grazie anche al famoso attore Steve Mc Queen che lo indossò nel film “il caso Thomas Crown”.

The Persol Brand was born in 1917 becoming the emblem of quality and style made in Italy.
